No disrespect intended, but legendary Detroit Lions lineman
Alex Karras has kicked the bucket. I
never met the man, but I’m guessing he’d appreciate the sentiment instead of something that reads like a flowery obituary, one carefully prepared as his health declined. I sincerely hope that Mr. Karras accomplished all of the things on
his bucket list, and glad that he got to witness the last couple of successful
seasons by the Lions. Anyway, I assumed that he had, but also discovered (from reading one of those obituaries) that he suffered from dementia as well. In any event, he deserved to see
Detroit turn things around.
Not sure when they’re going to finally lay him to rest, but may he
rest in peace.
