SAN FRANCISCO 49'ERS INSPIRED CLOCK & STUFF
The Kaepernick led San Francisco 49'ers beat the New Orleans Saints 31-21 on the road. Last week, #7 for the 49'ers shocked the legion of San Francisco Armchair Quarterbacks in a lopsided win over a very good Chicago Bears defense on "Monday Night Football". The second year QB was impressive again Sunday, even if the victory against the Saints was really made possible by two defensive touchdowns.
It isn't clear when Alex Smith will be cleared to play, but with games against the St Louis Rams and Miami Dolphins, it is conceivable that Colin Kaepernick can get the "W" in those games too. Yes sir, the Colin Kaepernick led San Francisco 49'ers... Now that phrase doesn't exactly roll of the tongue the way a "The Joe Montana led..." or "The Steve Young led San Francisco 49'ers..." does.

In time, maybe it will.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS INSPIRED WALL CLOCK
The San Francisco 49ers play host to the Seattle Seahawks tonight at 8:20pm on Thursday Night Football (TNF). Note the time. Not 8:00pm, not 8:30pm, but 8:20pm. More on that later. Anyway, tonight's tilt features two first place teams, two 4-2 records and two pretty damn good defenses go head-to-head (or mano-a-mano if you're so inclined) in what promises to be a great NFC West battle.
It's sometimes been tough for me remembering to tune in for football on Thursday nights this year, particularly the queer 8:20pm time for kickoff, and after having had my standard post-work beer. Forget to watch a couple of Thursday nighters this year? Don't be that guy. Either tune in at 6:00pm for the two-hours of pregame, or get yourself an armchair quarterback wall clock. Hell, do 'em both. Regarding the clocks, there is one available for all thirty-two teams.
