British driver Dario Franchitti (married to actress AshleyJudd) won his third Indianapolis 500, becoming the 10th driver in the 96 years
of Indianapolis to win three or more time.
The other nine drivers are all Americans with the exception of Helio
Castroneves of Brazil.
The list of three-timers are; Helio Castroneves (3), Bobby
Unser (3), Johnny Rutherford (3), Mauri Rose (3), Wilbur Shaw (3), and Louis
Meyer (3).
The holy trinity of Indianapolis are; Rick Mears (4), Al
Unser (4) and A.J. Foyt (4)
